On Sunday, Sept. 29, 2024, Rendezvous Mountain will be hosting a drop-in Hawk Watch program from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the summit parking area.
Brian Bockhahn, interpretation and education specialist for NC State Parks, will be leading the hawk search, identifying the raptors seen and discussing migration patterns and the methodology behind species counts.
