Profile Trail, campsites, and parking area remain closed. As of March 23, Boone Fork parking area is closed due to work on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Please use Asutsi parking area.

Profile Trail Parking Area

Closed until further notice. All campers should use Boone Fork or Asutsi Trail parking areas on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Day-use visitors may access trails through the privately owned Grandfather Mountain Stewardship Foundation (entrance fee charged).

Grandfather Mountain attraction, which includes the Mile-High Swinging Bridge, is not part of the state park. The state park is free to access, while the attraction charges an entrance fee.
