Come join ranger Zachary Baker on an exclusive fishing experience across the dam on a part not yet open to the public. We will be working on knot tying and casting prior to the fishing adventure.
We will meet at 9 a.m. at the Rockefeller House, which is about a 15-minute hike from the parking area. Wear shoes to hike in and bring water, your own fishing rods and bait or tackle, if preferred. The park will supply some fishing rods and some bait if needed.
This program is for anyone who wants to gain more knowledge in the fishing world.
Registration is required; click the Register button to email carvers.creek@ncparks.gov or call (910) 436-4681 to sign up.
