Come to the park on Friday mornings to read fun and engaging children's books about exploring nature!
Stories are selected for children in kindergarten or younger. The book for November 29 is “Bowwow Powwow,” written by Brenda J. Child, illustrated by Jonathan Thunder, translated into Ojibwe by Gordon Jourdain, and published by Minnesota Historical Society Press in 2018.
No registration is required, just come and enjoy! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Directions: Enter the park at 8801 Glenwood Ave. and stay straight for 1 mile before turning into the Visitor Center parking lot on your right.
