Who hasn't seen a wild animal and thought, "I want to pet it," right? Join a Ranger to explore the ins and outs of our local animal residents! Most of our animal friends are pretty shy, and we don't get to see them — so here's your chance! There will be taxidermy animals, furs to touch, and skeletons to see.
Meet at the Fews Ford Visitor Contact Station classroom at 6131 Cole Mill Road, third parking lot on the right past the entry gate. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Bring water.
Spaces are limited, and registration is required. To sign up, call (984) 250-1370 or click the Register button to email eno.river@ncparks.gov. Include the number of guests in your party and a phone number where you can be reached if the event is changed or canceled.
