Join a park ranger at the visitor center to read a story about winter adaptations called Over and Under the Snow by Kate Messner and Christopher Silas Neal. We will make dioramas of your favorite animal from the story as a craft temporarily displayed in the visitor center to teach visitors how animals adapt to winter. This program is recommended for 5 – 12-year-olds, but all are welcome. Please email Maggie.miller@ncparks.gov to register.
