Join our Schools In Parks Specialist for a hands-on science adventure as attendees will use quadrats to study the fascinating world of fiddler crabs! Participants will collect real population data, learn how scientists estimate crab numbers in salt marshes, and explore what these tiny crustaceans can tell us about coastal ecosystems. This will require going into the marsh near the living shoreline, water shoes are recommended. No flip flops or opened toed shoes allowed. This program is weather dependent.
