Join park rangers and paddle down a beautiful section of the Dan River, spanning 4 and ¼ miles. Space is limited to 13 participants with kayaking experience a must! Lifejackets, paddles, and kayaks will be provided at no cost and will include shuttling to an undisclosed area. This program will last approximately 3 hours with an age limit of 16. Please come prepared with appropriate swimwear and food/water if needed. This is a weather-dependent event that can be affected by heavy rainfall days prior. We will meet at the Dan River Access at 1258 Flinchum Rd, Danbury, NC 27016. You can register for this program by emailing Jacob.Fields@ncparks.gov.
