In celebration of NC “Free Fishing Day” Our Rangers will be opening the gates to our dam that you can fish off. Gates will be open from 9:00 am- 12:00 pm.
All state parks west of I-77 are closed through at least Oct. 31, 2024.
Most October events at all state parks across North Carolina have also been cancelled as the division works on post-storm recovery. Visit ncparks.gov/closures for more information.
