This event celebrates the history of BW Wells, the man, as well as the history of Rock Cliff Farm. Participants can learn about 19th century hog farming practices that occurred here and take several small walks where they will learn about wildflowers, the local geology and the ecology of the area.
There will be children's activities, such as painting with pine needles, build-a-baseball and kite building, as well as an arborist with a very popular tree climbing activity and the Wake Forest VFW will have their Chuck Wagon on site for those who want to grab a hot dog or hamburger lunch!!
This event is open to the public and free of charge. No registration required.
This event is rain or shine, but may be cancelled in the event of severe weather.
