Birding for Beginners

Join a Park Technician to practice some basic birding identification skills and learn more about  the birds of Eno River State Park on a two mile hike along Eno Trace and Cox Mountain trails. 

Meet at the Fews Ford Visitor Contact Station classroom at 6131 Cole Mill Road, third parking lot on the right past the entry gate. Wear hiking shoes and bring water, binoculars, and any bird identification books or apps. 

Spaces are limited, and registration is required. To sign up, call (984) 250-1370 or click the Register button to email eno.river@ncparks.gov. Please include the number of guests in your party and a phone number where you can be reached if the event is changed or canceled.
