We will be hiking the River Bluffs Trail which is a 1.2 mile trail that runs along the Dan River. We will cover basic techniques for birding. We will also go over the Merlin and E-bird phone apps that can be used to help identify and document birds. Please bring water and use the bathroom before you arrive since there are no facilities at the Dan River Access. I have a limited number of binoculars to loan out so please bring your own if you have them.
