Join us for a day of fishing, games, prizes and environmental education!
The Annual Youth Fishing Tournament is focused on bringing children ages 5-13 to teach them about one of our most popular outdoor recreation activities. There will be multiple stations and booths offering several games and education opportunities.
FREE!! No registration fee and No entrance fee for participants.
Registration Opens April 1st, 2025. Please contact the park office at the information provided.
Classes will be divided by age range.
Classes: Ages 5 – 7 “Egg Class” Ages 8 – 10 “Larva Class” Ages 11 – 13 “Fry Class”
At 12:30 Prizes will be awarded in each Class for:
Longest Fish Heaviest Fish Most Fish Caught by Weight
Grand prizes will be awarded for first place winners - details to come.
Only one main prize per child, if one child is first place in more than one category, then second place child gets the prize. Participatory prizes will also be given to include stickers, coupons, temporary tattoos, wristbands, water bottles, tackle boxes, lures, etc.
Other activities: Make your own fishing cane poles, food truck, Environmental Education Programs & Games.
