Now that the weather is getting cooler its time to go camping. Join Ranger Baker to Prepare yourself for a successful camping trip by attending our camping safety program. We will be going over items and materials that you will need for camping.

Join us at the Long Valley Farm Access of Carvers Creek State Park for a volunteer day.

Our Rangers will be opening the gates to our dam that you can fish off. Gates will be open from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm

Come check out the macro organisms that live in the mysterious waters here at the park with Ranger Baker! We will be netting small creatures that live in the secret pond such as crayfish, tadpoles, and more but we’ll need your help identifying some of the others! 

Come out and learn about the Carolina Butterfly Monitoring program and how you can help monitor the population of butterflies at Carvers Creek! We'll be following the Wiregrass Loop Trail at the Sandhills Access to look for local butterflies and developing our identification skills. 

Celebrate Track Trails Day 2024 with a walk on our Track Trail Hike! We'll be looking for some common and not-so-common things as we walk the Wiregrass Loop. 

Meet at the Sandhills Access, by the signboard next to the overflow parking lot. 

Carvers Creek State Park Bring you, Carvers Creek Pollywogs. This month we will be reading about insects.

The curriculum for this program is for Preschool and younger but siblings are always welcome.
