Due to conditions beyond our control, online and mobile navigation software is not directing visitors to the correct areas of the park. DO NOT set your navigation to "Raven Rock State Park". Bridle Trails Status - OPEN but starting on Friday, September 12, 2014, trail work will begin on the East Loop. The East Loop will be open but please exercise caution as machinery and workers may be encountered on the trail and the parking area. The West Loop is open and no work is scheduled for this trail.

Portions of the West Loop Bridle Trail nearest River Road have been re-routed to complete the loop on the west side of Avent’s Creek using the trailhead opposite the vault toilet. Do not ride on portions of the trail that are marked as closed.
Raven Rock State Park has created a list serve for updates on the East and West Loop Bridle Trails. These updates will only be sent when the trail status changes.
