A prescribed burn along the park road above the family campground at the mountain section was conducted yesterday 8/3/15. Some smoke is still visible. All facilities are open. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ALL HIKING TRAILS ARE OPENED FOR HIKING WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE MOUNTAIN TRAIL. THE CLOSURE ON THE MOUNTAIN TRAIL HAS NO EFFECT ON ANY OF THE OTHER HIKING TRAILS. The Mountain Trail is being converted from a 2.5 mile one way trail to a 4.5 mile loop. The trail is currently closed for construction.Construction is expected to be completed by October. Now accepting applications for Park Attendant position.
