3-30-2015 - The North River Section road of the park will be temporarily closed for construction of a parking area and roadway clearing work. This alert will be removed when the road reopens. 4-1-2015- A prescribed burn is planned for around the park's family campground and grindstone trail. The grindstone trail will be closed during the burn. NOW HIRING We are now accepting applications for a 'Park Attendant'. This position is seasonal and will last 11 months. It is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in a career in parks because it allows you to be involved in a wide variety of daily park tasks required to effectively operate a state park.
