Due to high water conditions, Bee Tree overlook is closed. The rest of Bee Tree Trail is open. Please call the park office for more details.
Lake Level is 11.09 with about 3.6 feet of water in the ramp area. Most boats will have little difficulties loading/unloading.
Canoe Artifacts have been moved to East Carolina University for restoration and are temporarily off exhibit. Please contact the park office at 252-797-4475 for more information.

People using GPS and Google Maps are experiencing incorrect directions to Pettigrew State Park. Please do not rely on the directions given by GPS to get you to the park. It is not possible to get to the park office going down Holland Road. To get to the park office take Hwy 64 toward Creswell. Take exit 558 (Alligood Rd). Follow the signs approximately 8 miles to the park entrance. All roads leading to the main park entrance are paved. For more information call (252)797-4475

Pettigrew State Park is located in Washington and Tyrrell counties, seven miles south of Creswell off US 64. From US 64, take exit 558 to Creswell. Turn left at Main Street and go two miles (the road becomes Spruill's Bridge Road). Turn right on Thirty Foot Canal Road for five miles. Turn left on Lake Shore Road and the park office is on the right.
