Construction on the park’s new visitor center is in progress. It is being built on the opposite side of the parking area from the Itusi Trail trailhead. The area around the construction site, including the parking area, is closed to public use until further notice. Boat rentals are closed indefinitely. Itusi Trail users may only park at the swimming area. This does not affect any other facilities at the park, including the campgrounds and swimming area.
The parking area for the mountain bike trail/park lake area is closed until further notice. During the closure, trail/area users will only be allowed to park at the swimming area. Parking along roads or in undesignated areas is prohibited. Parking won't be allowed in other lots (i.e. office, group camp/community bldg, etc.) due to limited capacity and/or the need to provide parking for facility renters.
