The Kerr Lake water level is at approximately 305’ msl and slowly falling. Current predictions indicate that it will fall to about 303’ by Friday, May 24th but that could change if the Roanoke River Basin receives rainfall over the next several days. All campgrounds at Kerr Lake SRA have sites that are likely to be impacted between now through Memorial Day weekend.
Park personnel are calling campers who have reservations on sites that may be impacted by the high water.
This ALERT will be updated as conditions change.
