Kerr Lake State Recreation Area is located in Vance and Warren counties, north of Henderson. It can be reached via US 1, NC 39 or I-85. On I-85, the exits for the individual recreation areas are marked. Follow the brown signs to the individual recreation area of your choice.
To Satterwhite Point and park office From I-85, take exit 217 and travel north on Satterwhite Point Road. The park office is on the right. Satterwhite Point Road dead-ends in the park.
Henderson Point, Hibernia and Nutbush Bridge are located off NC 39. On I-85, NC 39 is exit 214. To reach Henderson Point, follow NC 39 approximately 13.5 miles north of I-85 and turn right onto Rock Spring Church Rd. Turn right again onto Rev. Henderson Rd. To reach Hibernia, travel approximately 12.5 miles north of I-85 and turn right onto Hibernia Rd. To reach Nutbush Bridge, turn right onto Nutbush Road about 4.5 miles north of I-85.
Bullocksville, County Line and Kimball Point can be reached off exit 223 (Manson Rd.). Take Manson Rd. west to Drewry crossroads. For Bullocksville, go straight through the crossroads onto Bullocksville Park Rd. For County Line, turn right at Drewry onto Drewry-Va. Line Rd. Go about three miles and then turn left onto Buchanan's Store Rd., right onto County Line Rd. and right again onto County Line Park Rd. For Kimball Point, turn right at Drewry. Follow Drewry-Va. Line Rd. for 4.5 miles and then turn left onto Kimball Point Rd.
