ATTENTION CLIMBERS: SEASONAL WILDLIFE CLOSURES ARE IN EFFECT TO PROTECT THE NESTING AND ROOSTING SITES OF PEREGRINE FALCONS.
The north end of Moore’s Wall will be closed to all users until August 31st or further notice. For a complete list of affected climbing routes please call the Hanging Rock State Park office at (336) 593-8480.

LAKE OPERATION SCHEDULE
Lake swimming and boating, as well as the bathhouse and refreshment stand facilities at Hanging Rock State Park, will open for the 2008 summer season on June 11.
The operation of these facilities coincides with the public school calendar, which runs late this year in Stokes County. Please contact the park for more information.

Directions
Hanging Rock State Park is located in Stokes County, four miles northwest of Danbury. From I-40, take US 52 north. From US 52, north or south, take exit 122 on RJR Moore Road. Turn left at the top of the ramp and for a distance of 17 miles follow the signs for Hanging Rock State Park. From RJR Moore Road turn left on NC 66 north. Turn right on Moore's Springs Road, which ends near the park entrance to the right.
