The Natural History Museum located near the overlook will be closed indefinitely starting Wednesday, August 25, 2010. The bathrooms will remain open but the museum will be closed. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Unless otherwise posted, the swim area is open 10:00 am-5:45 pm WEEKENDS ONLY, Last Day is Labor Day. If thunder is heard by the staff, the lake area is closed until the staff deem it safe to enter the water. No refunds are given due to weather, please plan accordingly.

Facility Description(s)

• Facility: Paddleboat and canoe rental
• Location: Boathouse on the lake
• Accommodates: Each paddleboat can hold up to 4 people. Canoes can hold 2.
• Nearby Amenities: Picnic area, restrooms, concession stand and swim area
• Available: Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, when swim area is open only.
• Reservations Required: No.
• Accessible: Yes.

• First Hour --- $5/hour

Camping

Facility Description(s)

• Facility: 35 Drive-to / Walk-in campsites (non-electric). A picnic table and grill are located at each campsite.
• Location: In the wooded area near the park office
• Accommodates: Two tents (or one small camper and a tent, or one large camper) and up to six people per campsite
• Nearby Amenities: Drinking water is available at several locations in the campground. A washhouse with hot showers is centrally located.
• Available: Year-round.
• Reservations Required: Reservations are strongly advised. Any unreserved sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Accessible: No.

• Facility: 4 Primitive group campsites. Available to non-profit organizations. Each site has picnic tables and a fire ring. There are two enclosed pit-toilets and potable water shared by the sites.
• Location: Group Camp Road, Entrance is outside park's main entrance.
• Accommodates: 4 sites, can accommodate 15-25 people at each site. Parking lot is small, groups will need to carpool.
• Nearby Amenities: None.
• Available: Year-round.
• Reservations Required: Yes.
• Accessible: No.

Drive-to / Walk-in Camping (no electrical / water hookups):

Primitive Group Camping

• Available: Memorial Day through Labor Day from 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Swimming is permitted only when lifeguards are on duty.
• Reservations Required: No.
• Accessible: Yes.
