Serious plant pests can be introduced into our parks by campers who bring in firewood. To prevent this, many of our parks sell firewood. For campers who choose to bring in their own firewood, please use wood harvested from a source local to the park. Campers should not bring firewood from outside of North Carolina. Learn more
Access to the Bird and Galax trails is flooded. Please do not walk these trails until further notice. You can still walk the 350-yard trail and the Spanish Moss Trail

Primitive Group Camping
Unimproved campsites with pit privies (composting or vault toilets, etc.) --- Per day $12 minimum per site for 9 people. Ê$1 additional per day for every person over the first nine.
Dump Station for RVs
for non-campers --- $18 (Note: some parks do not allow non-campers to use dump station facilities.
