There are many opportunities to view nature at Carvers Creek State Park. The open fields are wonderful places to view birds and insects. In the wooded areas, you may see fox squirrels and a variety of woodpeckers. The federally endangered red-cockaded woodpecker calls our forests home. In the millpond, you'll likely see waterbirds and turtles.
