N.C. Parks and Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF)  »  Apply for a Grant

The Parks and Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF) provides dollar-for-dollar matching grants to local governments for parks and recreational projects to serve the general public. Grants for a maximum of $500,000 are awarded yearly to county governments or incorporated municipalities.

Public authorities, as defined by G.S. 159-7, are eligible applicants if they are authorized to acquire land or develop recreational facilities for the public.

A local government can request a maximum of $500,000 with each application.
